     It probably sounds familiar...you should eat more fruits, whole grains and vegetables. But those fibrous foods help you to lose those unwanted pounds. In fact, consuming about fourteen grams of dietary fiber a day could result in a 5-pound weight loss in 4 months. Dietary fiber increases satiety (your feeling of fullness) and thus reduces the desire for additional calorie intake.

     Eating protein-rich foods (things like chicken, fish, eggs) has shown to make you feel full and satisfied for longer periods…certainly longer than carbohydrates (things like pasta, bread, sugar, etc). So consuming an adequate amount of protein each day will help you control your hunger and calorie intake. I'll help you determine how much and what you should be eating.

     You may have already discovered that diets don't work. Diets deny you foods that you enjoy and, more importantly, can cause vitamin and mineral deficiencies. And when you quit your diet (which always happens) you will probably gain more pounds than you lost. In the end, you'll weigh more and will probably feel a sense of defeat.    
   An extremely effective aid to permanent weight loss is to keep a food diary for a short period of time. It takes all the guesswork out of deciding what to eat and when. It is also extremely helpful in developing healthy eating habits that slim you down, fill you up, and enable you to AVOID DIETING. I'll show you how to start your food diary today!

REMEMBER: The extra calories that you take in each day are either BURNED or STORED!

SOME TIPS TO REMEMBER:

1. DON'T SKIP BREAKFAST

2. EAT EVERY 3-4 HOURS
3. NO CARBS BEFORE BED
4. EAT ORGANIC WHENEVER POSSIBLE
5. HAVE SNACKS IN BETWEEN YOUR MAIN MEALS
6. EAT AS MANY VEGETABLES AS YOU WANT IN A WIDE VARIETY
7. EAT PROTEIN EVERY TIME YOU EAT
8. NO PRESERVATIVES
9. NO TRANS FATS
10. DRINK WATER ALL DAY LONG
